Who We Support
American Coin Works is a veteran-owned company. Part of our work is making products people can wear and keep. The other part is sending support to organizations that already help veterans, first responders, and their families.
This page lists the causes we give to now. We would rather point people to groups that do the work every day than pretend we can replace them. When you buy from a giving collection in our store, a set amount from that purchase is donated to the organization named on that product.
We keep this simple on purpose. Each cause we support is listed below. Each donation amount is stated with that cause. As we add organizations, they will appear on this page. If a group is not listed here, that giving relationship is not in place yet.
How it works
Some products in our shop are tied to a specific organization. Look for that collection in the store. For those items, American Coin Works donates the amount shown in that section from each purchase.
Some causes also have another way to give, such as a public $HERO250 donation wallet or a direct link to the organization. Those details are included with that cause below. Our standard is the same either way: say where the money is going, then follow through.
K-9s for Warriors helps veterans by pairing them with highly trained service dogs. The organization works with veterans facing PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma. Many of the dogs come from shelters, so the program can help a veteran and a rescue dog at the same time.

Wounded Warrior Project
Wounded Warrior Project helps injured veterans and their families with mental health support, career programs, physical wellness, and long-term care after service. We support them through a public $HERO250 donation wallet and a special collection in our store. Anyone can buy the coin and send it to the wallet. Those donated coins stay there as a visible reserve; each month we use the wallet’s value to determine how much we give, without selling those coins. We also donate $3 for every item purchased from the Wounded Warrior Project collection. If you would rather give to them yourself, there is a link on their page to donate directly.
